Working happier and more consciously – Some thoughts

Often there is nothing we look forward to more than enjoying a few free hours after a hard week's work. Beautiful moments are experienced very consciously - in the here and now.

Everyone is talking about deceleration, mindfulness and work-life balance.

In everyday life, on the other hand, we regularly talk about “must”. We work it off one by one, tense and rushing from one situation to the next with a lack of focus and concentration.

Confronted with this problem, the idea for GUYA was born. We were looking for an alternative to coffee that would help us to approach our own goals in a more productive, alert and relaxed manner and we came across the elixir of life of the Kichwa Indians in Ecuador.

GUYA now stands for much more than a natural, delicious pick-me-up. For us, GUYA and Guayusa embody the power, creativity and willpower that drives us all to do what we are passionate about.

With the striving for more and more performance, we quickly forget what we are actually doing and how we are doing with it. The focus is primarily on functioning and thus the risk of stress getting out of hand. We are overwhelmed, sleep badly and compensate with more coffee. We become even more restless and stressed. An infinite loop.

WORK IS OFTEN EQUALED WITH DUTY

We rarely reflect on the fact that our tasks are actually - sometimes more or less - fun, make sense or fulfill us personally. After all, we have deliberately chosen our working environment and would like to invest our strength and energy in something that our heart beats for.

Of course you sometimes reach your limits, are overwhelmed or have a bad day. But the overriding goal should be to work in a positive, concentrated and focused manner on things that challenge us and inspire passion.

We pursue our goal with the mission to provide you with the power of the caffeine-strong and most energy-rich plant of the Amazon, while at the same time strengthening the independence of small farmers in Ecuador through the traditionally sustainable cultivation of the guayusa plant.
