We keep getting messages from customers and subscribers on Instagram and Facebook asking whether they can also buy our Guayusa tea products from REWE.

It would be nice!

Unfortunately, REWE, like all other supermarket chains, has completely different priorities than including a holistic and sustainable product like Guayusa tea in the range. It's also expensive and doesn't sell well!

We are therefore not yet represented at REWE, but in this short article we would like to give you an overview of why ordering from us is the best alternative to retail.

1. Difficulty for Guayusa tea to be listed at REWE

In our article on DM and Rossmann we have already described what the biggest hurdles are.

Selling tea at REWE with Guayusa encounters similar hurdles. There are extremely high listing fees of around 1 million euros. The listing is then valid for 6 months. If the product is not sold in sufficient quantities during this time, the goods will be removed from the range and sent back to the manufacturer, and the cooperation will end.

Of course, the listing fee remains on the REWE account ;)

You can imagine that a small Guayusa tea company does not have 1 million euros on its side to "donate" it to REWE. In addition, an additional approx. 2 million euros for marketing must be expected so that the product really sells off the shelves.

It is therefore for small start-ups without any connection to investors or TV shows almost impossible to get listed at big grocery chains.

2. Alternative "Guayusa from the online shop" instead of REWE

Of course, you can find all of our products in our online shop . You can conveniently pay by PayPal, credit card, bank transfer or on account.

As with REWE, you can have our Guayusa tea delivered directly to your door. ;) We ship with Hermes, because unfortunately DHL no longer works with small start-ups with low shipping volumes, but prefers Amazon.

From €59.90 we can then take care of your shipping costs. Otherwise we will pass on the shipping costs 1:1 to you, of course we don't earn anything here.

3. Sustainability of your order

Hermes already ships CO₂-neutrally and has a great tracking system. The well-known defects and the poor service from Hermes have been repaired almost throughout Germany.

We've tried pretty much every service, from GLS to DPD and UPS. With Hermes we have a delivery rate of 99%, as long as the customer tracks his parcel and gives the Hermes system a deposit OK or makes an appointment.
