We do not use any flavors or other additives. The taste of our Guayusa tea comes exclusively from the natural ingredients. In the case of PURE and DARK, the 100% are Guayusa leaves.

Due to the long oxidation and fermentation of the leaves, similar to black tea, the leaves of DARK turn dark. But unlike black tea, the taste of our organic guayusa tea is sweeter and fruitier, even slightly caramel. The earthy-grassy note decreases.

This is caused by a longer ongoing drying process in which the leaves start to oxidize. Nevertheless, it does not taste bitter, but sweet, even slightly caramely.
